Wine Experiences Available Daily
We invite you to join us daily at Nostalgia from 10:00am until 5:00pm for wine tasting experiences. We have a few experiences to suit a range of needs.
The Valley View Memorable Wine Experience
This is a seated experience under our outdoor pergola where you can enjoy our sweeping valley and vineyard views. A member of our team will guide you through a tastings of 5 wines of your choice, including a selection of our premium wines. Expect to spend 30-60 minutes for this leisurely experience, during which time you’ll learn all about our winery story, how we grow our grapes and make our wines, and more! $15 per person, with the option to add a charcuterie and cheese board (supplemental cost).
A Taste of Nostalgia
The Taste of Nostalgia is a set tasting of 5 favourite wines (two whites, a rosé and two reds), served at our main indoor bar (standing). This is a great overview of the winery, our story, and a selection of our wines. Expect to spend 15-30 minutes. $10 per person.
Memorable Wine Tours
Embark on an enchanting journey with our Memorable Wine Tour at Nostalgia Wines, offered every Saturday from 11 am to noon, spanning June 15 to Sept 14, 2024. Learn more and book a tour here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Reservations are not required for Valley View or Taste of Nostalgia experiences, and drop ins are welcome. If you are travelling in a larger group (over 4 guests), we do recommend calling 250-485-0227 or email us to ensure we can accommodate your group without delay (we’ll always do our best to accommodate you, there just might be a wait if you drop in with a big group). Memorable Wine Tours do need to be booked in advance, and that may be done online here.
Q: Can you accommodate larger groups?
A: Yes, we try our best to welcome your group. Please call 250-485-0227 or email us to make arrangements for your group. Our occupancy outside is 46 persons, inside is 38 persons and our picnic area occupancy is 30 persons.
Q: Do you have food?
A: Oh you bet! We have a few set charcuterie boards we can whip up for you. And we welcome you shop our deli and create your own board.
- Our Favourites: Picnic Spread(For 4-6 people). Port Salut (150g); Snowdonia Cheese (200g); Charcuterie Trio with prosciutto (150g); Olive Tapenade (200g); Nostalgia Wine Jelly (125ml); Served with baguette crisps for $60.
- Petit Picnic (For 2-4 people). Dubliner Cheese (200g); Salami Trio (100g); Nostalgia Wine Jelly (45ml); Served with baguette crisps for $30.
- Baby Board (For one). 3 Babybel (original, cheddar, swiss); Original Salami (56g); Served with baguette crisps for $10.
We also host Food Truck Fridays and have some additional days with food trucks on site. Find the schedule of food trucks here.
Q: May I bring a picnic?
Sure thing. We have a grassy picnic area with a lovely, pastoral view. It’s a very chill spot to picnic. We offer wine by the glass or bottle, but there is strictly no outside alcohol permitted by our license.
Q: May I bring children?
A: Yes, we are family friendly. All minors must be accompanied by an adult, as we are a licensed premises, so please keep your children with you during your visit.
Q: May I bring my dog?
A: Yes, dogs on leash are welcome in our outdoor areas. As we are a production facility, we are not permitted to have dogs inside our building.
Q: Are your fees waived if I purchase wine?
A: We offer complimentary wine experiences to our Recollection Wine Club members and our Local Wine Club members. We encourage you to learn more about our Club member benefits here! For guests, we do not waive our fees, as we pride ourselves in the quality of our products and the level of experience our team offer. We think that $10-15 for a full glass of BC wine and a 15-60 minute guided experience is well worth it.
Q: I only drink red wines. Can you accommodate me?
A: Yes, in our Valley View experience, we have a list of 14 wines for you to choose from, which includes 6 red wines. You are free to select all red wine. The same is true for white wine or chilled wine drinkers, you may select the wines you prefer during our Valley View experience.
Q: When is the last tasting?
A: As most tastings will take 30 minutes, we offer the final tasting at 5pm. We do have later hours for our Sunset Lounge, and offer flights of wine from 5-7pm. You may learn more about our late hours and the Sunset Lounge here.
Q: What kind of wines do you make?
A: Great ones! Learn more about our awards at the All Canadian Wine Championship and Savor NW Wine Competition. We grow 4 white grapes and 5 red grapes on our 14-acre vineyard, so we have a varying selection all made in small quantities. You may review our full selection online here.
