Introducing the 12 Days of Christmas Shopping at Nostalgia Wines!

Nostalgia Wines in Oliver has partnered with local artists to give them a retail space this December. Join us for a Memorable Wine Experience while you browse! We also make fabulous gift baskets and we offer complimentary giftwrapping of Nostalgia Wines bottles.

Nostalgia Wines is open all year and ready to help you prepare for Christmas! Join us from Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 4pm. We’re open until Christmas Eve at 4pm for all your holiday wine needs!

Featured artisans for the 12 Days:

  1. Fri Dec 2: Crush Candles
    We have worked with Connie at Crush Candles in Kelowna for years, and we love her and her amazing candles!

    To keep the memory alive of many memorable wines, repurposing the bottles into a candles seemed to be the next natural step for her. Each and every one of Connie’s candles are hand cut, sanded, small batch poured with 100% soy, coconut and  beeswax and then gently scented.

    You’ll have to visit to smell for yourself! We have five different glass/label designs, three colours of wax, five regular scents and six seasonal scents.

  2. Sat Dec 3: Christmas Crafts by Shannon Taylor
    Shannon is such a creative woman! We love her handmade Christmas stockings, home signs, and you will have to take home a gnome!
  3. Sun Dec 4: Bridge Lake Wood Company 
    As one of the pioneers of the log house industry in 100 Mile House, wood, and creative use of wood in his projects has been a focus.Over the last few years they have refined their focus to include charcuterie boards. All our hardwoods are Prime Grades or better, kiln dried, cabinet quality.
  4. Thu Dec 8: The Nova Collection
    Kirsten and Shane are local woodworkers and bring innovative designs for your home. Due to the nature of the wood, each item may have slight variations, making each shelf one of a kind.
  5. Fri Dec 9: Loper & Haas
    Loper & Haas pieces are designed for daily life and will take on character with use, developing a patina that can only come from a life well lived.Each piece is handcrafted from start to finish in Levi’s small Osoyoos studio. Every detail is carefully considered, from executing the signature hand stitching to selecting the best quality leathers, to ensure the level of craftsmanship and quality for which Loper & Haas is known. This meticulous process is reflected in the finished products, which proudly bear the mark of the maker’s hand.
  6. Sat Dec 10: Swiss Miss MudHut and Shelby & Jun
    Swiss Miss MudHut makes unique wheel thrown pottery, created with love and care by Annina on Anarchist Mountain.Also on Anarchist Mountain, Shelby & Jun Woodworking is Jennine’s small business, creating fun and bright wood signs, tree ornaments, crib boards, charcuterie boards, and all things wood.
  7. Sun Dec 11: The Curator
    Wina in Osoyoos curates art from the heart, ethically made home decor and vintage style at The Curator. Plus she has some special jewellery coming in for holiday season gifting!
  8. Thu Dec 15: GN’R Alpaca Boutique
    Gail has always been interested in fibre which is why alpacas are such a good fit, with their high quality natural fleece. Alpaca fleece is lustrous and silky, soft and luxurious, warmer than wool, not prickly, and contains no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic. She has raw fleece, carded fleece, roving, hand spun yarns, right through to completed items like hats, mitts, scarves, and socks…items may be felted, knit, crocheted or woven. Each is hand made and one-of-a-kind.
  9. Fri Dec 16: Annabel Stanley – Natural Fibre Artist Sculptor
    Annabel is a natural fibre artist sculptor, and the sole operator of the vineyard and new garden, which is a source for her weaving materials.
  10. Sat Dec 17: Fifth Avenue Collection
    Let Sylvia outfit you with some seasonal sparkle! She also has great suggestions for the fellas who need a little box of bling for the special lady in their life. All the jewellery is nickel free, lead free and cadmium free, perfect for people with sensitive skin or allergies.
  11. Thu Dec 22: Nancy Blokland Pottery and The Bar and Lake Therapy Apparel
    Serve those holiday nibbles and warm drinks in Okanagan style with Nancy Blokland Pottery!When you’ve finished your snack, clean up with Jennifer’s soaps from The Bar in Penticton. Her handmade soaps also make great stocking stuffers! Samantha from Lake Therapy Apparel has not only clothing, but also handmade candles, wristlets, keychains, organic market mags and some other fun things sure to delight everyone on your list.
  12. Fri Dec 23: Provisions Food Company
    Provisions Food Company is a specialty food brand. For the past decade, its passionate team has handcrafted condiments, shortbreads, seasonings, and more in our small-batch production kitchen. Our products are inspired by the local vineyards, orchards, and farms.

    Nostalgia Wines is open Saturday, December 24th from noon to 4pm for all your last minute wine and shopping needs. Many of our artisan partners are featured in our shop regularly, as we try to support local all year long!
