The Osoyoos Oyster Festival is back, and it’s shaping up to be another memorable event! Set for Friday April 11th and Saturday April12, 2025, this highly anticipated festival brings together succulent oysters from the West Coast of B.C., award-winning wines, and cocktails for a delicious celebration of local flavors. Here’s a breakdown of the two key events:
Sip & Shuck – Friday, April 11, 5-7 p.m.
Held at the Greenside Bar and Grill at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club, this casual event will feature freshly shucked oysters by Kelowna’s Codfathers Seafood Market, as well as appetizers crafted by the club’s culinary team. Guests can enjoy a variety of wines from local wineries like Kismet Estate Winery, Gold Hill Winery, Intersection Estate Winery, Nostalgia Wines, River Stone Estate Winery, Nk’Mip Cellars and Domaine Artema Winery , while enjoying live acoustic music by Don Brogan.
The Black Pearl Gala – Saturday, April 12, 6-9:30 p.m.
The festival culminates at Walnut Beach Resort with a glamorous evening featuring oysters shucked by Codfathers, gourmet canapés from the resort’s Executive Chef Darien Rozsahegyi, and a pasta station where guests can enjoy custom-made pasta dishes. Local cocktails and wines from Osoyoos’ own Tumbleweed Spirits, Kismet Estate Winery, Gold Hill Winery, Intersection Estate Winery, Nostalgia Wines, Nk’Mip Cellars and Burrowing Owl Estate Winery will pair perfectly with the food, and live entertainment will keep the energy high for dancing.
