Crush Party Returns 2021
Be sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated about our fun events.
We’d like to invite you to our Grape Stomp at Nostalgia Wines’ Crush Party! Now is the time to sign up for the 2021 Grape Stomp Competition!
Who’s ready to get dirty?
There are many ways to take part in our Crush Party, and stomping grapes is just one option. You can also participate in the costume competition, where we have a prize for the best dressed Lucille Ball (or Ricky Ricardo). Remember the I Love Lucy episode where she stomped grapes? That’s what we’re looking for! Judging will be at 3pm.
In addition to the grape stomp and costume competition, we’ll be hosting local rockers Rebel Luv for live music all day and spectators are welcome. I Love BFF food truck (burgers and french fries) will be here, and we’ll have a Nostalgia Wines and North Basin Brewing drinks garden.
Through this event, we’ll be raising money for Wide Arts National Association, supporting local arts experiences. Jenn Bruyer will be soaring above us with aerial dance performances, we’ll have face painting for kids, and an artisan market with pottery by Nancy Blokland, Crush Candles, woodwork by Shelby & Jun, stained glass by It Ain’t Plain by Jane, and vintage clothing, jewellery and more by The Curator. Lots of fun is in store!
Join us October 2nd to have lunch, enjoy local wine (or craft beer), listen and dance to live music, view artistic performances, browse and shop local artisan products, and celebrate harvest with the grape stomp action, all while supporting the arts! This action packed event will have something for everyone.
All stompers sign up in advance, so please email Sheila for a registration form. Your registration is confirmed when you return the completed form and pay the $30 entry fee per team of two, which will be donated to Wide Arts. We’ll have a Little Feet Stomp for kids at 3:45. The Little Feet Stomp is impromptu, and kids are welcome to hop in and try stomping grapes.
Entry to the event will be exclusively from our main winery entrance at 398 Lupine Lane, to monitor event participant numbers and check vaccine passports. The top gate entry off Black Sage Road will be closed. Please enter on Lupine Lane, just off Road 9.
We will be monitoring the changing PHO restrictions and making sure we provide a safe event that follows all orders. We appreciate your patience as we try to organize an exceptional wine country experience during the pandemic.
